The Aerorail concept was created by Bryant “Pete” Trenary, a mechanical engineer. Since earning his Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University, Pete’s career has spanned nearly 60 years of mechanical and electrical design with General Electric, Powtech, and as an independant general consultant. In Pete’s career with General Electric, he led design teams on diesel-electric locomotives, oil drilling equipment, and mining vehicles. Pete has since retired from full time work, but he will be involved as the chief design consultant while the Aerorail prototype is built.
